Intelligent Keys - disable windows

Is there a way to disable the "window down" feature of the intelligent keys? i have come across a few instances where something in my pocket pushed the button and i went outside and the windows were down. good thing it wasnt raining

Unfortunately no...you can buy little i-key sleeves though off ebay that help to cover over the key so you don't press it...

wait... i remember some guys needing to reprogram their fob to get it to work... so wouldnt it go both ways?

I've never heard anyone talk about that - I know that if you don't have the premium package you don't have the ability, and maybe they just had the dealer throw it in?

it comes with the 2.5 convience package and is standard on all 3.5s

I was just gonna say that mine doesn't have the convenience package, yet I can still roll the windows down with my FOB...then I checked the Nissan USA site and realized that your guys' "base" model is really and truly that! Up here in Canada, our "base" model comes with the sunroof and the entire convenience package...that would also partly explain why it's so much more expensive up here too........

To open the windows with the FOB just hold the unlock button for a couple seconds.

lol ya this happened to me and it DID rain i wanted to just sit on the concrete and cry.

Shocking that this happened to me when last night, raining!!!

I woke up this morning shocked/pissed off, what's worst was I left my 16GB 2G iPod touch on the Passenger but was also lucky that it was in it's Protective Case.
