Intelligent Key warning buzzer

Hello all,
I have a problem with my 2012 Rogue. A couple of days ago I dropped my keys, and my intelligent key opened up slightly on one side. I snapped it back together with no problem. Now when I turn the car off and open the door the buzzer sounds and the "!" in the triangle light appears on the dash. The buzzer stops when the door is closed, or when the car starts, so it's not on all the time. It's just a bit annoying when the door opens.

The key itself seems to be working fine. The door lock/unlock buttons both function as does the panic button. The door "nubs" to lock and unlock the door also work fine when the key is in range.

So my question is this: Is there something that just needs to be reset, and can it be done easily?
