??intelligent key, not saving settings??

Hey I'm new here, 2006 infinti M35S
I have found alot of useful info here, buuuuut!

I searched and searched and couldn't find anything about people who have problems with their intellegent key not saving settings.. I can lock unlock the doors, roll the windows down, but the key just wont program my driver settings?
Both me and my wife read the users manual several times, I've literally sat in my car trying to save the settings for no less than 3 hours!!
Anyone have any ideas? advice? insight?

buuut LOL, I've already watched that video about 20 times making sure I'm not missing any steps! LOL..I've even watched the G35 vidz to make sure they arent doing anything different. I'm at loss??

looks like I'm visitnig the big "I" building.. aka infiniti service.. LOL
