Intelligent Key for which models?

I tried a search and nothing came up for my question.

I've heard that for the G35 the intelligent key only came with the automatic is this correct? and is it for the 05-07 years??

If it didnt come the the 6sp, how come?

For the sedan, the i-key with pushbutton ignition came out in the 2007 model year. The coupe followed in 2008.

Actually I have test drove a 2006 and it had the I Key. It was an automatic. Im curious if the 2005 models also had the I Key as well as the manual models.Thanks

Sorry, the ikey became standard on the years I mentioned. It is generally regarded as the oval shaped remote that can only be programmed by the dealer using CONSULT.

If I recall correctly, it was an option that came in the premium package B on the 2005+ model years.

As for the ikey being used on on an MT, I don't know for certain on the 2005+, but when the ikey became standard in the years I mentioned, both MT and AT cars had them.

Ok The I key came with Premium package C....

Premium package B didn't have that option I don't think lol...

You can't get it with a manual in the 05-06's... Why I don't know...

Probably because the technology was new at the time and If you stalled in a Manual and the Key didn't fxn you would be $hit out of luck!...

But that is the only reason that i can think of why it didn't get the iKey
