Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC)

Greetings friends.. I posted this question a little while back without any solution. My Cruise Control will only work in the "intelligent" mode only. Is this normal for an '02 Q? Dealer told me there is no way to disable this to run it in the typical normal cruise way which is unfortunate if your fast approaching other vehicles. Someone suggested holding in the button for a few seconds, but that too did not work. That said, the car is fantastic and would love to post a few pics.. however I am at a loss for attempting to attach pics..Much appreciation.Haggis

Hello,The ICC cannot be disabled on the 2002-2006 Q45. Holding the button works for the 2003-2004 M45, where it can be disabled. The following distance is way to far. Guessing it is a byproduct of our over litigious society. I keep on meaning to disable mine. The ICC system also drives Valentine 1's crazy.Cheers,ML

As far as the cruise control goes, owner or service manual are your best resources.

Try putting black electrical tape over the laser in the grill.
