We just purchased a 2006 Infiniti FX45 and so far it has been great. Today when I went to start it, I could not until I put the actual key in the ignition. Once I put the key in, It started right up. Just wondering if this is a known issue or what the problem could be.

Your comment and question were rather vague. Going on what little info you provided, I'd say the battery in the key fob needs to be replaced.

Sorry. Went to start the car and it usually recognizes the key fob. Today it did not and we had to use the physical hard key to start it. Started right up with the cut key. If it happens again I will note the lights on the dash.
