I have my iPhone integrated into my Nav system. I pulled out the ash tray console. Unscrewed the auxiliary mini plug. Plugged a splitter into it. One side went into an iPhone dock. The other side was plugged into a cable that on one end was a mini pin to the dock and the other was bare wire. I soldered that end to a mini plug from Radio Shack. Then screwed that back to the hole from the original auxiliary plug. I then connected a cable that had a 30pin iPod plug to the dock. The other end was bare red and black. I connected them to the back of the cig lighter. I cut the ash tray so the dock would fit. Now I dock my iPhone, play my iTunes. When the phone rings, it puts the song on hold and the iPhone call comes threw the Bluetooth of the Nav system. The phone keeps charging!

thats pretty sick, good creativity...although I personally believe that the aux mini-plug jack gives sub-par audio quality. Maybe if you were able to get the ipod adapter for the factory nav. and run it through to the same spot on the console.

John, take some pics and make a quick write up, I'm sure alot of people would be interested. I'm more interested in your pics...great idea.

I saw someone who did the same thing, the iphone docks right on a connector bolted into the ashtray pocket.
