I've heard good things about both injen and AEM. But since I'm probably gonna go with an apex'i setup, I'll probably get an apex'i one.

I use a Hot Shot intake mated to a JWT pop charger. Been doing great for the past 3 yrs or so.

the piping's gonna be about the same no matter who makes it, just so long as it won't rust over time or absorb so much heat from the engine bay, but that isn't so much of an issue. I'd say go with whatever blings the most to you. As for the filter, A'PEXi is the way to go; in a test, it flowed the most and filtered the most as well, so just keep that in mind.

K&N may actually be harmful to your engine...

The oils may damage your MAF, and the filter lets too much dirt through.

That's what happened to our stealth. It sucked up all the excess oil that K&N put on the filter and you can fill in the rest...

What ya think... 15 hp for $197 -- INJENhttp://store.dragracing.com/pr...id=99

or $144 for 5 HP --AEMhttp://store.dragracing.com/pr...id=99

Those are ABSOLUTE MAXIMUM hp increases...you won't get an increase like that from an intake.

edit: The AEM on sounds reasonable, I still trust Apex'I more though.

um u wont get fifteen horses from an injen intake. i have an aem personally and i can vouch for three to five, but fifteen, no way. i can put some money down that that is false. they are pretty much constructed the same way but i know for a fact that the aem will bolt on much quicker than the injen. plus u can save that extra fifty bux and put to a CAI from injen which can hook up to the aem. just my 2 cents

Injen is the only company that makes a CAI for the 240sx, right (because apex'i only makes a short-ram afaik).
