as far as quality is concerned, you might and very well may encounter fitment issues. Other than that, the general reputation of cheap eBay parts isn't very good at all.

I can't say whether or not I'd recommend it, maybe someone else can offer better advice.

Every joe shmoe has copied the design that AEM pioneered years ago, so from a performance standpoint it is the same as the name brand (AEM, Injen) intakes, just replace the filter with a K&N and you're good to go.

But the quality of the product is questionable so poor fitment and random rattling is possible. So its up to you.

BTW that looks like a short ram intake, not a cold air like it advertises.

My car came with an eBay intake (still in the packaging), which I then proceeded to install.

The fitment was quite good, although it came with quasi-universal brackets to attach it elsewhere to the frame other than the TB, which didn't work, and I then had to rig something up. The placement of where the hoses were to go was also not ideal, and I was unable to use the stock hose (it was kinking due to the angle).

In the end I got it all to work, I'm going to toss an Apex filter on there pretty soon though, as I hear they make fantastic filters.

I put it on the car because I got it for free, I likely wouldn't have bought it. If you're going to buy some generic eBay parts though, intake is probably a better choice than stress-bearing parts like strut bars, springs, etc...

just look at the welds on the mounts if they look solid go with it, or if you know how to weld just run a bead over it.

My car also came with an E-Bay intake. The fitment wasn't too bad but it did hit the frame for the hood and one of the radiator mounts. Alittle trimming and a new filter you will be good to go.
