Intakes and Airfilters

Sorry if this has been answered already. Searched to no avail.

Ok...stupid question.... but I was planning on getting a K & N air filter foraround $60. But then I thought I might look into an Injen intake.

If I get an intake do I still need the K & N filter? Does the intake have a different filter on it in place of the regular filter? or do I need both?

I just don't want to waste money.

When you get an intake you get new filter, (cone shaped). Granted you could still get a K&N filter with your injen intake.

If I use an intake...I use the air filter provided with the intake and nothing else?

So I shouldn't buy an air filter if i'm considering an intake?

yeah the filter is the red cone thing at the end of the intake and it comes with it

no need to buy anything else

yeap no need to but unless your really want a K&N filter then feel free to replace the new filter that comes with it.
