Intake/Warranty questions

wats up everyone. yes i am a newb to the infiniti world and lovin every mile of it. i was looking into doing the intake and maybe spacer or MREV dont really know too much bout them but i was askin the dealer if it would void my warranty and he was tellin me that when you just do the intake the cat gets clogged cuz theres more air comin in and not enough comin out so the check engine light will come on and they wont fix it. i really didnt wanna change the exhaust or nething cuz i like the stock sound. i guess wat im tryin to say here is, is there anything that doesnt void the warranty,i only have 1600 miles so should i wait till i have more miles and the motors broken in more. sorry so long

Gotta love service dept managers. Most of them couldn't find their a$$es with both hands. You won't have any problems with your cats by putting on spacer or intake. Next time, don't even waste your breath asking the service manager about mods, the less they know, the better off you are. If anything every happened, you could easily take both off before taking it in for any warranty work.

i worked on MANY cars with intakes with warranties

service dept just look for reasons to void a warranty almost like your taking money out of there pocket
