Intake vacuum leaks

Hi. Sorry if this question sounds stupid. How do you check for intake vacuum leaks?

look at all the tubes that run off your intake and make sure all of them are secured in place with no leaks... there are 4 of them on the intake tube if you count the AIV hose. 5 if you count the resonator, which is right under the 45' bend after the throttle body

you check for intake vac leaks with the engine running and a can of carb/brake cleaner. when you spray the area in question, it'll get sucked in if there's a leak there.
