Intake/Vacum Canister

Well im doing a head gasket and im trying to clean some things up at the same time. Most everythign is already unhooked. The only thing i have vacum going to is the FPR. I was going to delete the EGR and the thign that connects between the exhaust and the air filter. Is all i need to do for those is plug the holes? And i dont' think i have any vacum going to the canister and then to the fuel tank. Is that a major problem?

Any input would be nice, and yes i have searched rigirously

you mean the aiv? the aiv is needed for emissions testing. if you're talking about the charcoal canister also, that's a no no to plug up the line that's going to the fuel tank.

emissions really have don't really affect me unless they slowly kill me by warming the world so im not to worried. And i think i am talking about the charcoal canister.

One other question what does the line that comes from the bottom of the throttle body do.
