So I cant, for the life of me, figure out where this line goes to. I have looked under the intake, around the intake, around the throttle body, under the manifold, between the upper and lower manifold and I cant find anything for this line.

Please someone tell me what connects to this nipple, its the one with the blue hose and bolt shoved in the end. Thanks in advance.

I don't remember any vacuum lines being there for the stock intake pipe.
If all the vacuum lines under the throttle body have vacuum hoses on them, you should be fine.

He's talking about the littler blue pipe coming off the big blue pipe that he currently has plugged.

From memory I don't recall there being a vacuum hose going there on the stock intake piping.

However there are at least two little ones towards the front of the engine bay.

Only one there for the stock intake is the IACV (that also splits to go to the VC breather).

Well it has to connect to something. The stock intake, from pictures that I have seen, does have that line connected to something. I have looked at vac line diagrams but cannot figure this out. If someone can take a look at their 240 and see where that thing is connected to it would help tremendously.

BTW, this is for a S13 with a KA24DE. I know the S14 dos not have the line at all.

There may be one on the left side that goes to some emissions. But the only one that is used without emissions is the IACV/VC breather. There is the big hose on the bottom that goes to the seal box (silencer mounted on fan shroud).

Check this picture out. You can see that is connected to something.

Why would anyone "T" off at the valve cover breather and intake.... makes no sense.

So I figured the problem out. I actually flagged a guy down that was driving a 240 coupe and asked him to pop his hood.

The missing line actually tee's off from one of the vac lines from the PAIR valve and then goes to one of the hard lines under the throttle body. What a freakin headache lol.

Sometimes you just have to do wild things lol. I couldnt take waiting any longer to figure this thing out. Oh and so I decided to search my garage for this tube with a t-fitting and guess what.... I found it in like 30 seconds lol.

So you are probably wondering how the piece was in my garage and I didnt know where it belonged to.....

Well I purchased the car from my friend after he towed it to my house for me to do his head gasket. He started tearing everything apart and didnt remember where a single item went, not even a bolt or screw. So thats where I picked up the car and pieced it all together and now its coming along great, especially since I just figured out this mystery lol/.

Kudos to you!
I always keep my work area organized so I know where every bolt goes. I hate having spare bolts at the end of a job.
