intake tubes

the intake tube did not come with my sr engine set. I was thinking that I could make one out of pvc or other material faster than I could get the stock one shipped. Has anyone done this before? By the way I am running greddy front mount with XS recirculating valve for my setup. Any hints or pictures of custom setups would be appreciated.

Are you talking about the pipe from the intake+ MAF to the turbo? I'd just custom make something. Go a muffler shop and get something made out of 2" (i think, can't remember, i've got the Z32 maf now) tubing and some silicone couplers and be done. Or, PVC would work, albeit ghetto, but ghetto is OK in my book

Yes, I am talking about the tube from the maf to the turbo,but what I am trying to figure out is how exactly to do the ports for the recirculating valve and the valve cover breather. The breather can be fixed with just a separate filter, but the recirc valve has got to be a little better to handle the pressurized air.chad
