Hello Nico,

Im about to finally purchase my 2008 Alti Coupe 3.5 CVT after a tough 32 months with no mods under a lease. Just wondering what intake system is being found to give max output, short ram or cool air? If anyone has any specific makes and HP specs let me know. Only one I've heard consistent good things about is the Fujita short ram.

Thanks all.

SEARCH.

Injen, Fujita, K & N, AEM will all do the same. The two later will look better, the first two will be cheaper.

every one buys the fujita cause its the cheapest and does the same thing as the other ones but some people say that the airbox in the k&n i believe will get you more power but i dont think i justifies the 300 plus price tag

Yeah I cant see the sense in paying double the price unless Im getting double the result. Only seeing average of 6-7HP between all of the ones Ive researched.

Thanks guys.

Actually...upon further research the K&N put up 9.36HP while the others arent topping 7HP. After almost 3 years of riding her stock, I think I have to spring the cash for every bit I can get!

I think the performance stats were posted from the 2007 Altima Sedan. Also a supposed +9.6hp for an extra 200$... not sure it's worth it. But I am biased, I like my Injen.

Yeah I dont know...I'm leaning toward the Injen myself now. However not seeing it for $200 less than the K&N? Cheapest I can find the SP1977 is $265.00, where did you get yours and how much?

Yeah, just get the K&N. Very reliable and if your going to buy a performance part, get performance you can trust. I know I sound like some kind of K&N rep but they make a quality product. I have used K&N in all my cars.
