Hello nicoclub

im gonna purchase an intake kit for my car

i was wondering what are some good recommended brands that you guys would suggest

i'm liking the injen short ram intake and also the k&n intake as well

are there anymore intakes i should know about that would be a good buy and will give me some decent performance

and also for the altima coupe do they make a full cold air intake one which extends to the bumper? i can only find those for the G35

also who would recommend the catback exhaust and who also thinks the stillen body kit is a good option for the coupe

thanks for the help!

Whats up!

I've never seen a CAI out of the box. I have the Injen SRI and I love the way it sounds with the 3.5 :bigthumb: Very easy to install and the black looks great!

I personally prefer the look of the OEM body rather then any aftermarket kits. But check it out, you may like it!

There are also numerous cat-back exhaust for the coupe. I not have one as of yet, but got my eye on the Greddy exhaust. Also the Racingline Y-pipe is a popular bolt-on exclusive to the 3.5 :dblthumb:

Tons of topics on this already. I'm going with the Injen SRI, hopefully getting it soon. Check out ebay to get the cheapest price.

Np. Ya I've heard of a few different problems that can happen with CAI, that's why I'm gonna go with the SRI.

K&N always reliable. It really all comes down to the sound+price since there isnt much of a performance gain.

did a little more research and i also took into consideration the AEM intake EA
i watched some videos on youtube, and it does sound like a monster lol
Like elfen said it really does come down to sound+price
even tho i know it doesnt really add that much more balls to the coupe
is it just all bark and no bite, or do you guys notice at least somewhat of a difference in ur mpg, torque and hp after installing a SRI
i've read the specs and all the talk, but i want to know from a driver's point of view
thanks btw for everyone on the post
really it is helpful, im new to all this stuff really
pardon me if its just stupid to ask lol

There's nothing like hearing the car roar. It's my therapy on the road when I finally get a break away from stupid people.

Oh and I've got the K&N intake. Got it not too long after it came out. I was interested in the heatshield feature. I've since replace the K&N cone filter with an Amsoil one.

I've got the K&N, its considerably more expensive but I really wanted the heat shield. I'm completely satisfied with it.

BTW....$149 shipped for the DC sri...and the filter sits far enough away from the hottest parts of the engine that the heat shield really doesn't make a difference...but to each his own
