Well even on their ad on the post, they say that your car feels like it's performing better on colder days because your intake is getting cooler air. How can you put a resistor on your car to trick your CPU into thinking that you're getting cooler air? The chip would either have to cause you to cram more air into the cylinder or cool the air coming in. The reason why you'd get more "power" on colder days is because of the nature of the air that you are taking into the system....it's just colder meaning that it's more dense and hence more air crammed into every cubic centimeter/inch/whatever. Unless that resistor can magically do that, I don't see how this would work...
