Intake Question

Heres the deal, I recently put in a K&N filter in the stock filter box, but I really didn't notice any power gain. I was wondering if I were to get a cone air filter like this that I would notice any power difference. I would get a cold air system but since I got a 1990, no dice.

An intake system probably give's you say 1-2 hp if that. So not notceing any difference is normal.

It'll probably be hard to notice any difference with only a filter; I got the AEM short ram intake for my '93 and I barely feel a difference. It is a lot louder though.

What I did was take off the tubing before the filter box (the Y-Pipe thing). I didn't notice anything other then it being louder. I guess that the cone is just for looks.
