Hello just got a 2012 coupe 3.5sr and I want to change the air intake im stuck between nismo or injen not sure whats better any thoughts?

K&N is the better setup

Or if you have some hillbilly ingenuity, you can buy the eBay intake (K&N knock-off) and end up with this...

...reason I stated the extra skill-set is because some parts are missing and the bushings they provided to mount to the stock locations were missing internally threaded nuts so they were useless.

I took a look at how Nissan used these to mount the engine cover on and noticed the grommets they go into are identical to the two factory air-box grommets.

Made a trip to Menards and after some digging, came up with this ingeniously clever and almost identical set-up (using leftover strut mount bushings as insulators.

Total cost was $89.99 shipped for the intake kit and about $8 in parts.
