i have a quick question about intakes.........

i have a AEM cold air intake in my Z but ive heard that a short ram is better, and if thats so why?

and how are the JWT pop-charger in performance? better then cold air intake or what?

im thinking about getting a JWT pop-charger with a Z-tube.......what you think?

will i get some gain better then my AEM cold air intake?

need some good feedback guys!!!!!!!!!!!!

ram air and cold air both have there pros and cons and the jwt pop charger is awesome. also by z-pipe do u mean z tube? because if u do dont wast ur money only buy a z tube if you have a g35 or fx35 the z already has this tube hence the name.

injen intake, one of the best for the z out there, and it can convert to short ram or cold air depending on what your mood is. all it is a mega huge silicone hose joint,

had the pop charger on the Z tube now have *upgraded* to the CAI.... i don't know about AEM, maybe theirs sux for this car, but my Injen CAI is better than the popcharger.

P.S. i have a Z-tube.... $$?? how much is it worth to you?

If you have a 03-06 350z its better (for most, not all) to get a short ram - JWT is a favorite...If you are 07-08 it gets very tricky because stock intakes are very effective (people who have tried other SRI have reported a loss of power). The K&N drop-ins have proven to be the best bang for the buck, but the injen CAI is where im heading. Also have JWT dual Pop Chargers and it sounds bad azz, however I a looking to unnaturally manipulate throttle control with tunning...

Intakes alone wont matter anyway (power wise)... If you making it easier to breathe is gotta be a two way thing: air going IN, and air going OUT. Intakes, headers, TP/HFC, and a catback exhaust will deal some damage provided a decent tune. Any of these mods alone solely provide sound.

Has anyone heard of or tried the AFE Magnum Force Cold Air Intake system on a Z?I'm getting one and my shop recommended this one b/c it has a dry filter and factory installed heat shield.

Not sure how it performs compared to the Injen though....

intakes alone provide bare minimum performance.... needa pair it with some exhausts then well be good!
