I'm going to replace my intake soon and after searching I know that most of them have about the same gains, so I was wondering which one you guys think sounds the best.

The JWT Popcharger sounds about stock until about 4500 RPMs. Is there an intake system that's reasonably priced that will give a different sound at lower RPMs? I checked out the article about the different intake systems, I'd just like to know how the different brands sound... But the consensus seems to be that everyone likes the popcharger Ztube combo.

I have the usual, pop/z tube. The pop charger won't change the sound nearly as much as the Z tube will. Once the intake baffles are gone, she gets a little louder.

Okay that's reassuring, I was considering the Pop/Ztube combo, and didn't know that the Z-tube gave it a louder sound.

yea. i got the jwt pop plus the z tube and the sound is deeper at the 4.5k range but power is unnoticable. i guess i hear it actually might decrease power? but does change the sound a bit....

im running z-tube with a k&n drop in filter...

yeah the G has a louder intake sound with the z-tube...

im still debating on the pop charger... i'll probably end up with it though... its cost way less than the stillen and other intakes... the users on here love the sound... i heard it on youtube and it does sound great

i would be buying it for the sound more than its gains.

The JWT popcharger is a great functional mod...but if you want something that looks a little nicer, the Stillen popcharger would be a good choice. It's the same function-wise compared to the JWT, so the sound will be just as good...it just costs a bit more.

Both work with the Z-tube.

Since you have the 06, I'd also recommend you get the MREV2 and 5/16 plenum spacer. You will see and hear some nice gains

So I finally got the popcharger and ztube in the mail and put 'em on yesterday and the new sound at WOT is awesome. A bit louder and sounds a bit more aggressive.

So next I'm looking at a 5/16'' engine spacer and the MREV2. How do those two compare to something like: http://www.kinetixracing.com/n....aspx

Yeah I only posted the link just to give people a visual. I'll probably check ebay for an MREV2 and spacer.
