I got a fujita intake from my girlfriend for my birthday, she said the site she ordered it from said it was for a 04-06 but when I tried to install it the MAF doesnt fit and the bracket doesnt line up. i was wondering if anyone had gotten one to work for them, I tried to return it but they said they wont take it back since their was no damage. I may just end up trying to sell it.

Probably needs a MAF adapter. Head to Autozone. I used to know the part number, I think I've posted it before, but I don't remember where. I'll try to find it later.

You can also try following these instructions.

Its for the 1.8. The sensor wont even fit in the slot.

are you talking about the round slot, or the rectangular slot?

have you tried turning the sensor around, as it only goes in 1 way.

the MAF adapter didn't fit mine either, either line it up best you can and drill holes through the welds or cut off the tips on the MAF so you can hook it straight up to the filterhere's what i did.

Mine is the full CAI not a short ram, The maf is a round slot but the slot on the tube is rectangular. I though about drilling it out but I dont want to mess it up and throw $180 away. I might just sell it and buy a spec intake since they use the stock mount (Be nice if thats how they made the 1.8 one too).

there isnt a round MAF only Rectangular. I bet your talking about an IAT sensor. Drill a hole in the pipe or rubber coupling and stick it in there.

OR you got the wrong intake for your engine and year.

Okay, are we talking about the sensor/plug itself, or the MAF housing that is part of the intake piping?

Post a pic of what you're trying to put in and what it's going in.
