any cone filter and maf adapter will do the job, no need to spend $200 on an intake

Yup... stock intake pipe , k&n filter runs 15.8s (KA) Got a cold air with the filter moved to that chamber in the front bumper and ran a 16.1. Don't do it. Sounds the same too.

Dude, just spend the extra cash and buy a AEM short Ram off of http://www.Dragracing.com $144.99 Shipped. Its already fit and you don't have to worry about modifying anything.

whats there to modify? all you do is remove the stock airbox, bolt the maf adapter onto the maf, and tighten the cone filter on to the adapter, and it'll only cost you $20 or less

Hey thank's Zero, I didn't really wanna spend 200 bucks on a intake anyways, I'll be sure to try it out soon.

go to ebay and search for a filter and adapter combo, there's usually about 100 differant ones on there, just a suggestion don't go for the hks knock-offs they aren't worth it.

Thanks for the replies, I was looking around, but the prices were way to high, just wanted to know what I should do, now onto the exhaust...

custom is usually the cheapest, and pretty much equal to aftermarket cat backs, buy yourself a good quality muffler (HKS, APEXi, Blitz) take it and your car up to a custom exhaust shop and tell them you want an exhaust made from the cat to the muffler as straight as possible. shouldn't be more $100 plus the cost of the muffler. don't get a cheap muffler you'll regret it.
