just installed a new intake, but one problem, the F-er only last for like a second, flutters and dies. Now i have installed intakes on other cars, such as eclipses and integras, but this one is confusing the hell outta me. all 3 hoses are hooked up to way that it was stock, and i even tried disconecting the negative battery side for 5 minutes then rehooking it up, but the same thing happened

help a brotha out...thanks:confused:

You likely have a leak somewhere after the maf. Find it and fix it.

sounds like the same deal I had earlier this week. It was caused by a vaccum leak that I fixed. Try searching for any leaks or vaccum leaks, if you find nothing use a vaccum pressure gauge to check if its steady. Check the MAF sensor plug, my not be attached well. Go over everything and look for obvious problems.

yep its true. I had my car for only about a month and went to a friends party... and parked in the wrong place i realize now cause some of his deck ended up on the top of my car. not to much damage though, some dings on hood/fender, but the worst was the windshield, the entire thing was smashed. i was so fricken pissed i made everyone leave. and that was no easy task. some big guys showed up and i almost got into like 50 fights trying to get em all to leave, but i was all hyped on adrenaline and thought i could take on the whole place. the Fuc.ked up thing was i never found out who did it!
