Intake problems, please help!

Ok I got the adaptor to use my stock MAF on my intake, I get it all on my car, plug up the MAF, connect the hose running to the valve cover, and there is a "T" in the hose where i connected the bigger of the 2 hoses that were connected to the stock intake. There was no other place the plug the smaller hose, so i plugged it(thought that would be alright...maybe i'm wrong) but there is no other place for it, and those were the only hoses i knew of that needed to be connected to something. So, to my knowledge, everything is hooked up and ready to go, so i start it up, it starts fine and idles for about6 or so seconfds then dies. And when I gave it gas, i got nothing. So my question is, did i miss something that needed to be connected? Cause it aint workin for me. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated thank you.

Come on i know you guys are smart, help me out here i'm so lost, i have no idea why it wont stay running or why when i give it gas nothing happens but spudders. Help me help me help me. pleeease
