I was driving my car and kinda revving it but not too bad and then I got to a stop light and my car just didnt feel the same so i go home and pop my hood everything seems right BUT before my intake used to give out air when i hit the acc. but not anymore and the intake sounds like somethings stuck I've already taken the intake and put it back together but i dont know whats wrong with it. It used to be like someone was screaming and now its like someones screaming but with someones mouth over their mouth. (NOT literally but thats the difference) My intakes not working what so ever. what could be wrong? Its an AEM Short Ram...Thanks for the help.

What do you mean by, "my intake used to give out air"? Please clarify this. If anything it should have 'sucked' in air.

I'm not sure what the problem is, but give us some more details, maybe we can help.

yea, definetly check if the intake filter is clean and check if the hosing and tubes are connected properly. How long ago did you get this intake? and what do you mean by "giving off air?" The intake is suppose to suck air through the filter and into your intake manifold..it shouldn't be giving off any air.

i think what he means by "giving off air" is that air sucking sound from the intake when you give your engine a quick revv. But either way hes just sayin his engine is not bringing in air as hard as it should. Ill jus throw out a few suggestions. take you intake off make sure your throttle body it clean, then pull the throttle cable (or have some on hit the gas petal) and make sure the flap in the throttle body is openin and closing as it should. Also i doubt this is it but just check your throttle cable make sure its tight

my 2 cizents!

Good idea.... but you'll need a third person to suck really hard on the MAFS.... as the engine will cut out if the MAFS doesn't register a signal. :D
