Negative. It is cast aluminum on all modern Nissans(from what I've seen).

Easy check to tell if something is aluminum or iron is to get a magnet. The magnet will stick to iron, not to aluminum.

It's cast aluminum, so it has that rough look to it, but it is aluminum.
