intake manifold water neck

anyone know what is up with the water neck construction on the intake manifold for ka24. is it like a steel neck pressed into aluminum or what? i need to cut some **** off to weld an AN fitting to it but like, does that neck piece just pull out or what? has anyone dealt with this?

and thanks for confirming, will it come out or is it like epoxied in? i guess ill just cut off the outer piece and weld the AN fitting over the inside sleeve that is left in. *shrug*
