So my question is fairly simple. I know you can extrude and hone the stock exhaust manifold and it will out perform alot of the aftermarket ones up to a certain hp range. Im curious if i can do the same to my spare intake manifold? Its an 8port. Also is there any real benefit of doing this? If so i figure it would be something worth experimenting with.

AFAIK, nobody has done it and compared before and after to say what the difference was.

Wouldnt it be a moot point if your head isnt ported?

I ported the lower and both my 8 port, and 4 port heads. I know it made a difference on the 8 port, as I could compare the before and after. I couldn't do that with the 4 port. The upper manifold on mine is port matched and polished as far up inside as I could reach, but that really isn't all that far.
