Anyone suffer ill effects from removing the triagular intake manifold support bracket (circled in red). I will keep the upright support bracket (circled in green). Would that be sufficient to support the weight, or best to keep both?

I think I removed all the bracing except for what is circled in green possibly. That includes the braces above the fuel rail that you did not mention.

The two that should be in the picture below... I'm keeping those on, and plus the upright bracket - I feel should be enough support. I've seen a few pics of setups without them. Besides, those running aftermarket intake plumes have to eliminate those brackets.... I haven't read anything negative yet from removing them

The fuel injector braces on mine have been gone for years and the motor has held up flawlessly.

The big one cirlced in red i kept though, its got to be one or the other IMO. And the top 2 braces just get in the way much more.

Can I have that "ECCS" plate on top of your intake manifold?

Do you think maybe the braces help prevent the engine and transmission from torsional forces or twisting. It makes the connections more rigid. Or did they just over engineer it?

edit: I have 0 braces triangulating intake plenum to engine block/head.

have been running around like this for years without issue. The braces make working in the engine bay that much more difficult.

I ran without the braces because the importer apparently removed them when pulling the motor in JDM land. Ran it for 3 years without it.
