Intake Manifold Stud Question?

Hello. Anyways I was wondering if anybody has changed their intake manifold studs for a regular bolt. The reason is because is so damm hard to take the manifold out. So what do you fellow Niconauts think?

I think that stud is sort of used as a datum... but yeah, you should be able to do it. Just make sure you get the thread pitch correct, and don't strip the bastard out.

yes you can, my buddy did it on his hatch when we removed the emissions. wish i wouldve did it when i did my emissions. but it does make it alot easier for removal though.

Did he had any trouble like tightening the bolts every other day or anything like that? And which type of bolt did he use?
