I have an intake manifold and I am considering selling it... Would it be worth making it mirror polished before i sell it? I was thinking it would bring a few extra bucks but i'm not really sure what a stock VS polished would be worth. help?

Eh might bring a few more bux but probably isnt worth the time. Q parts aren't worth that much.

How much do you think I will get for it? Just a ball park figure... If it wont be much, then I will hold onto it and polish it and use it as a decoration or something lol.

Not even worth trying to sell then. I have two headlamps, and a fog light, (passenger side) up for grabs also... price on those?

If you can find a way to clean up the inside real good then polish the exterior it should demand a little more money (as a spare).

Well since you can't really buy them, consider them priceless.

Trust me -- it is an extreme amount of work to work around all of the rounded surfaces on an intake plenum..

Here's a couple of how to vids that show the process..

Talk about two totally opposite ends of the advice spectrum! Sadly I think Wes is more correct at the moment. Priceless as in no price... but in another 10 or 15 years after most all of them see the crusher, maybe Q parts will be worth something. I certainly wouldn't polish one up just for resale purposes though.

Thanks guys! the advice does help a large amount.

240RB1, email me and we can talk prices. [email protected]. I own a 94 q45 and that is what it came off. Is there a real difference between the years?

I would think the shipping cost would kill any deal. It's got to weigh 15-20 pounds. My spare looks nice mounted to the rafters in my workshop. (Other junk removed for clarity)

I have a driver side fog lamp and the passenger side trim if you need it.
