i have a question that just drives me nuttz...does anyone make a racing intake manifold for a 240sx either ka24de or e. noone in this world seems to have a clue...i have seen them in 240's and even read a magazine with a ka24de racing intake manifold by GREDDY in it...but it doesnt seem to be in any catalogs...does anyone KNOW!!!

That was probably the Greddy I/M for the SR. There was some debate/questions as it appeared to be able to fit on a KA, but I don't think anyone ever followed up.

There have been several threads on I/M, I'm sure they could be easily found with some searching

the threads ive read seem to point to this as a custom part as no bug name place is advertising them. just think if someone made one to be sold to the masses, we'd alll know about it and have one.

more than likely the greddy piece was custom to that set-up or was limited to only a few made.

now if you can weld or know someone who does, then the sky is the limit.

well im looking for one for project purposes...im trying to build my KA...i am going to swap to sr eventually...but there is something that makes me question the potential...so i am personally performing this project! i want to see if i can push a low13-high12.but i want to try it myself...kind of like a hobby for spare time i guess...or until next november when i smog...then ill swap...but it doesnt hurt to have a nice ka to swap back too!

Interesting, so what are your plans for the KA motor?

i plan to build fairly heavy....take care of the block work...pistons,rods,knife-edged crank...have realnissan upgrade the whole head...and try to beef up the fuel and air intake into the car...and maybe even turbo...for that added power...its all project...ill see how it goes. thats why im searching for an intake manifold to help breathe... its still on the cutting board...but i just want to have a good idea of how far i have to go! unless i can get the manifold ported....what do you think...i have seen it done!

So do you want a 13-high12 sec all motor car?

Or do you want a turbo car to go that fast? If you go turbo, then almost all of those mods are a waste(cept pistons, and maybe rods) to only go low13-high12. You could easliy run that on a stock block KA-T.
