is an intake manifold off a 95 KA obd1 the same as an intake manifold off a 97 obd2? does any know?

just to let you guys know hes not making a mistake on the obd1 part....he has the exception s14 with a obd1 ecu.

ill just say what we talked about before...im guessin the 97 s14 has a diff TPS than the s13 like most s14.

OBDI tps is different than OBDII, also there are extra emissions/vaccum crap on the OBDII manifold

i think the water temp sensors might be the same

so that means i would have to swap my TPS from my 95ka to the 97? what do i do about the emissions bull****?

if your 95 is OBDI like mine then yes. emissions if you want you can toss and cap off any open vaccum lines

all you need as far as vaccum is the fuel pressure regulator and brake booster

without all those vaccum lines, can i still pass emissions?

as long as the vaccum lines aren't just hanging there and they are removed and the fittings capped, it should pass.on an emissions test, they will only be testing for the emissions equipment that should be there for the year of the car, not the intake manifold on the engine unless the whole engines been swapped.

yeah, i figure what will pass in socal will pass anywhere, since they are so strict when it comes to emissions here.
