SO, a little back story I picked up an N/A VGDE out of a 90' 300zx. The motor is going into an rx7, but thats besides the point. I am trying to eliminate as much as possible from the engine as possible without causing any problems, mainly for the ease of installation into my FC. I removed the EGR system already, and I just pulled the intake off. Ill be honest, im not very versed in VG's so a lot of what im looking at under the intake mani is greek to me. Heres what im looking at currently, VVV

Now, ive had my share of 240's and i know that there is a coolant feed to the throttle body to prevent heat sink. Does this motor have the same thing? Is that what the hard lines running north and south on the sides of the intake are for? What about all the lines towards the very outside of both sides of the manifold for? Sorry if these are some newb questions.. but i have neither a service manual for this motor, or a lot of time to research it because a friend is picking it up in a few days to be ported.

sorry if that also didnt make much sense.. :poke:

Thanks in advance guys

Those are coolant lines, bypass them, most of us do mainly cause its not needed and so much easier when you need to take the plenum off again.

Check this stuff out, his is a TT, but it will give you an idea.
