i pulled my motor last weekend and took off the coolant lines from the radiator and was looking around inside the hole into the mani from the radiator and saw this little crack (i think its a crack) and was wondering if i should replace the whole thing or will it be ok?

I'll be able to answer your question later tonight unless someone else answers it before I do. lol. If you just want to replace the intake manifold, I've got a spare one.

Which hole you lookin down through btw?

That thing is connected to the intake manifold? Cool, now I know. I replace my coolant lines a few weeks back and that thing you circled was all rusted and nasty. Took a while to clean up, even then, still rusty.

Anyway, if it's not leaking, it's ok .

I'll have a look tonight as I've got my parts stashed in my buddies garage and got a oil sender unit being sold to a local. How much for the entire manifold? How's 20 + actual shipping sound? Just a heads up though, you'll need a new gasket for the collector to runners as I had to split the two when pulling the manifold off.

I didn't see the crack-like thing you were describing when I checked my mani. I did find some rust around the seam where the pipe meets the manifold though. But from what it seems, it looks like it's pretty normal stuff.
