Install took 30 minutes. It looks quite nice and very health with the right engine cover on. I'd love to say I feel the difference in power, but I'd be lying. However, there is definitely more vroom vroom sound and a little better throttle response.

I did screw up on the install slightly by installing the 3.0 t-clamp on the throttle body and 3.25 t clamp on the intake side. It took a bit to squeeze the clamp in on the throttle body side but i made it work. It's super tight now. Briefly reading the instruction would've helped in my case. :gapteeth:

What intake did you go with and where did you buy it?

Yah. This is Fujita based on the goofy logo they put on the intake. I don't like the polished look so the only company that makes black powdercoated intake was Fujita.

They also have polished and Broze powdercoated version of this. It's actually a pretty decent intake. I got a killer price for it shipped @ $154.

I guess my next step in my mod is Motordyn ART pipes to completely free up exhaust restrictions. Headers are too hard to install and Plenum spacer combined with intake is not a good combo based on my other VQ35DE. I actually lost low-end with intake + plenum spacer. However, it does create a different engine tone with the spacer + intake at WOT. Others can argue other wise, but this is based on my direct experience.

^@ Zerg
MD Art pipes are good for giving more power...I just wouldn't want to deal with the 'fumes'...Unless you get the MD xyz pipe w/Cat, then that will solve the issue.

BTW, do you have an Uprev tune??

Yah. I'll wait until I get bored. The only other performance mod I am interested in is the MD ART pipes for my M35. I have a set of Tanabe Y-pipe installed on my FX35 that I can swap out if I get really bored.

I am not planning on a tune since I am not interested in squeezing out performance from this car. Exhausts and intake are really to create a little more character for my car in the form of sound. With these two things, at least I have the means to vroom vroom as I see fit. haha :gapteeth: :gapteeth:
