Went pretty well, had some problems lining up the MAF with the new housing. Very tight. Has a great throaty sound and I can feel a nice boost at WOT. The only problem is how to clean the filter without removing the housing. Here are some more pics, can't post in members rides for some reason.

nice fit..mine goes to the ground for even colder air but yours probably puts out the same power plus you don't have to worry about flooding and driving through water and all. Can you get ride of the main air vent to reduce weight and add space around the engine for air flow?

Is there really a noticeable power increase? And is that the same kit for the 07?

Mine has 94miles on it and I'm already looking for performance tweaks.

Yes, but I think that would bring in warmer air. It definately make a woot sound, which is nice. I have noticed an increase at WOT. Once it gets over 4k it roars pretty good.

To get the intake out you just have to undo the bolt and the plastic pieces up to the first rubber hose. Just push the scrunchy hose part back and you will be able to pull it straight up. Then you just have to unscrew the MAF and clean the filter. I am cleaning mine now. Here are some pics of the size for you considering the Stillen intake which is actually a K&N filter.

F#!&NG GEORGEOUS!!!!

nice placement of the Stillen sticker, too!!!!

SR20Essex - the 07's have a dual air intake (SWEET!) that one won't work. i'm sure Stillen will satisfy your needs soon, though.

I got a question...............When simply starting up the car can you tell a difference in sound compared to a G35 w/out the ztube/pop charger? I want to get one, but just dont want it to be TOO loud.

I use to have a 98eclipse w/headers/cat-back /aem intake/the whole works, but at times it was TOO loud........I was 18 then, so it was ok, but now Im 25 and am worried about it sounding a little too loud like a teenager would want it to sound........am i making any sense ?

Is it a ROAR, a GROWL, a PURR ? or what ?

I have other mods installed like the exhaust too but I would have to say it's like a loud sucking noise. It's not bad at all. Just let's you know it's there.

with just the intake you won't notice much difference in sound until you get higher up in the RPMs.
