not to be rude or any thing but if u cant figure out how to put on a short ram should you really be working on your car or any car for that matter?

yes u can use factory hoses if they are the right lengths.

you cant blame the guy for making sure it will fit, but, however you can blame him for not using the button

also some people will tell you that the plastic one is just fine, if anything it dissipates heat better

Yeah not to be harsh on the newbie, but damn its just an intake. Probably one of the most easiest and simpliest mod you can do.

Wow, is this really where we are, Instructions to install a short ram intake?

there should be;a coupling to attach to the throttle body,A aluminum pipe to attach to that coupling, some sort of adapter plate for the MAF,and then your filter.

When you say "basically new" I suppose you mean that you got it used or, someone ripped you off for $25 and gave you a Civic intake, (that wont work).

Search "short ram""Intake""Injen"

This is a complete no brainer. You remove the stock intake tube and box, then install the intake in exactly the same place you removed the stock one.

i picked up a bnib jwt pop charger for 65 bucks and it works just fine.

pictures aren't working, but if you can't figure out what's going on with just the words, take it to a mechanic.

If all else fails, contact Injen. They "should" send you some kind of instructions via e-mail, or snail mail. Either way I agree w/ most, easiest install.
