Intake hoses

Wat do the hoses in the red circle go to and would it be ok to just cap them off?

Why wold you want to cap them off ?


They are not designed for looks - That I am sure of. I do not have your model so I can not tell you what they do. My guess is engine vent or less likely to stabilize the idle.

First off, remember Kettering's Law: "Parts you don't put on a car don't cost anything to make, don't cost anything to install, don't
cost anything to fix."

Those hoses are there for a reason. Why do you want to take them off?

Trace them back and see where they go. I'm guessing one is EGR-related.

Well I know I'd like to know the answer to because I'm in the process of making a cold air for my rig and I'm having a hard time finding one that has a spot for those hoses. So I hope someone can give an answer.
