Did those come off the intake or did those come off the AIV valve (emission device). I know after I removed mine, there were 2 hoses left like that that I just threaded some screws into the holes.

those two hoses should come from under the throttle body to the aivc over near the exhaust manifold. It is a device attached on the driver side strut tower.

thanks for all the help. one last question, im prolly annoying the hell out of you guys, lol. the hoses do go to the AIV, theres two connections on the AIV, a brass one and a black one. theres a hose with red tape and a hose with blue tape, which one goes where? thanks alot for all the help guys.

hmm, I removed mine completely and still passed Massachusetts relatively strict emmisions requirements... Not sure which hose is which though.

do you really need to have them on there? i dont know if you have to worry about emisions, but i just cut those hoses short and t'd them together at the TB. then you can take off tha AIV and extar stuff like that, will make engine bay look less cluttered. as for wich one goes where, it may not matter ( im may be wrong) because they both come from the TB dont they? if im wrong, let me know.

i dont think it matters, cuz i just hooked them up and the car runs fine, thanks for all the help guys. im eventually taking out the AIV, but techinically the car is still my sisters cuz she is still driving it while shes out for another car. and she underestimates my knowledge and experience with cars, so once i am in FULL possesion of the car, then im taking the AIV out.

Just a heads up if you ever go KA-T thats a perfect vacum line (the ones in your hand) for a blow off valve. KA-T is highly recommended. A simple T25 setup with my SR's old injectors, a maxima mas air sensor and an Ebay front mount/piping, and my KA is just stupid fast now. Especially after tuning with an SAFC. Off topic, but just an FYI
