Well I'll be the odd ball here. Ebay, ebay , ebay. For the price you will pay for an injen cai and a hotshot header you can by 3 ebay intakes and 2 pacesetter hearders. Some people have had problems and some have not. It's all about how much you want or can spend. Just my 2 cents.

i've got an injen intake and its pretty good, Mine rubbed against the hood but that may be due to the way my fan shroud fits(very poorly). the unit looks really nice though, and there are some power gains that you can feel. As slydin240 said If you are inclined to a custom short ram intake could be made for a fraction of the cost and preform just as good, you shouldn't have to look too far to find a post explaining how to do it.

Yeah, I agree that custom fabbing a CAI will work just as well. I mean, all an intake system is comprised of is a higher-than-stock-flowing pipe, with bungs and fittings for OEM emissions equipment. If you can do it cheaper than Injen or AEM, then do it.

I wouldn't cheap out on the header, though. It can be a pain to install, and trust me, you'll only want to do it once!

Welcome and I hope this helps!

Custom short-ram intake install for an S14. S13's are pretty similar. It wouldn't be hard to get a cold air extention on there!

The AEM short ram is on my car, and fit just fine. Saved some cash from the Injen, but I'm not regretting it.

If you need a Full Injen CAI, I could sell you a second hand one for a good deal. I dont need it anymore because it wont work with the turbo setup I have now...

Thats an odd question... but I have used the main pipe for two years and the extension for 1 year. It has been covered in heat wrap the whole time and is in good condition.

THREAD JACK!!!!!Im looking at buying a cone filter and maf adapter...I live in california and would prefer to have it pass visual...If it comes down to it Ill just plug the PAIR hose to the intake box and put it back to stock before inspection, but Id just rather have it so I dont have to swap stuff out before inspection, what have you guys done to keep it legal? I the CAI extention wil hook up to an stock MAF and tube with an adapter right?[/highjack]

The CAI extension requires you to cut a hole in the metal under the stock air box (not legal as far as the visual inspection) but if you have the sticker from the company that says "CARB" on it, you should pass no problem.
