Intake Hastles
I need some help here. I just got my new short ram intake for my 91 240 LE and I've run into some problems. First of all, is there any difference between a 91 and a 92 240? I was under the impression that they were the same from 91 to 94. The problem is, I bought a 92-94 ram intake off ebay (assuming it was a misprint) but the new piping that came with the kit doesn't have ports for all the hoses that are connected to the stock pipe. Is this normal? do I have to just cap off the extra hoses or what?I'll post some pictures of the specific hoses

Man those pics suck for me....
Anyway pic4 is the aiv, you can put a breather on the hose where it would enter the airbox, or on the aiv itself thus removing the hose, or cap it off at the manifold and toss the whole aiv system to the side.
Second pic, pic5, is another minor resonator / air chamber that is not needed. Remove the hose and box from the fan shroud and toss it to the side as well.
S14's dont have either... and they run fine
