I was wondering if a cold air intake will fit a 2.5 auto the same as it would fit in a 6 speed. i don't know if there's a difference up top in the engine compartment or not between the two. Also, does anyone have any recommendations on which cold air intake to purchase?

There are no true cold air intakes for the 2008 altima, but AEM and K&N have the closest thing to a CAI. I have a injen intake on my 2.5 and if you have a 2.5 you really don't need to spend all that extra money on AEM and K&N just for a CAI. I have the injen intake and it sounds great and gets the job done!! I LOVE THE SOUND!!!!!

Also Welcome to Nico. I love Virginia Beach, I used to live there and love to visit.

is yours a 6 speed or auto? will the intake fit up the same and does it require any additional mounting hardware? also, do you know of a good place to get one as far as price and customer satisfaction are considered? thanks
