Yet another intake thread. LOL. Disclaimer: I do not claim to be knowledgeable in car modding. However, the information below are gathered throughout the forum. If you use the search feature you find the same information. Hopefully this Intake thread will be able to end all intake questions.

What is does an intake do? Allows more air flow into the engine compared to the stock airbox which is more constricted.

What are the benefits of an aftermarket intake? Minor increase in horsepower, throttle response and better engine sound.

How much horsepower to expect from Injen? Dynoed at 12, realistically 5-7?

Will installing an intake cause my car to be loud? The engine sound will get deeper and a bit louder at higher RPMs. (Above 2000)

Where can I get a CAI ? Currently there is no CAI. There may never be one due to limited space in the engine bay. The Injen intake is a Short-Ram (WAI)Where can I buy an intake?

What's the difference between Fujita and Injen?

Injen has a heat shield to keep hot air from going into the filter DIRECTLY

Is Injen available for 2.5MT Coupe? At the moment it has some mounting issues

How do I install Injen Intake?

It comes w/ instruction. Also here's Eric's guide with pictures zer...age=1Will installing the intake void my warrantty?

Not unless they can prove that the intake causes the problem

there's a fujita available for the 3.5SE, its just been released, and it doesn't have a heat shield.
