intake, exhaust, and headers....

i was originally suppose to have this done already but i havent had the time yet, (i work full time and am a full time sudent at FAU) so my girlfriend is buying me the intake for xmas, and im getting the other stuff myself. and no im not going to do te nismo exhaust for it.... nismo is an over priced mid grade performance company so i refuse to buy from them. Im a buddy of mine fabricate the parts. he's already done it in a few 06/07 altima's so he feels ready to try it out on the coupe. he has made over 4000 custom exhaust and headers so i trust him, and he did an amazing job on my mustang, he's a perfectionist. you tell him what type of sound u want out of it and he can do it. so after mine is done ill post up some pics and vid and if you guys want him to make something for you ill give u the number for his shop....

Why doesn't he just make up a jig and fabricate his own altima exhaust systems? If he can sell them for about $350 for the 2.5 and $500 for the 3.5, he would sell them by the dozen if they actually sounded good.

I guess I'm a little confused on the point of this thread. Are you trying to drum up a guinea pig car for your friend or advertising? I hope it is the former or the mods will be after you

4000 custom exhausts... so lets say he churns out one a day... every biz day.... that means hes only been doing it everyday for the past 14 years!I believe you have been forgetting your normal pills!

its a slight exageration, but he has been doing fab work for over 27 years, he's a guy that goes to the car meets, he has a 79 camaro and a new sti. but yea he has done alot alot of fab work, im actually kinda giving people a heads up on what they can do on their a/c for a few bucks. plus if he does a good job on my stuff then maybe i can get a group sale discount for the members.

So he's been doing it for 27 years so I'm assuming he's at least 40+ years old, right? And he has an sTI? Can anyone say, mid-life crisis?
