Intake Comparo

Is there much of a difference between different brands of intakes? I know some people have their favorites, but it seems like most of them are pretty much the same thing.

do a search for intake comparison on goggle

last time I did the search conclude that hks has the greatest gain and poorest filtration while apexi filter has the best filtration/gain ratio.

Of course, we don't know who did the test so teh result could have been tempered

A lot of people get a $25 intake off ebay, then just replace the filter with a better one. Don't use K&N though, very papery.

I dont know if the ebay intakes hold up in the long run though...
