intake air temperature circuit malfunction

hey this is my first post on nico club. recently i bought a 96 240sx and check engine light came on not to long ago. i bought a code reader and it came up with P0110 which is a intake air temperature circuit malfunction. Has any one else had this problem or know what would cause this.
