insuring a 240 sx

i have a 200sx but the other board is dead so ill pretend its a 240 for now.

so my thing is, insuring a car like this is a prob, it is verrry doubtable theyll bother repairing a car this old (89).since its so old, in a few years ur insurance payments will surpass vegicle value. so if u get in an accident ur kinda done with these cars.

that's why you get liability. that way you can make sure the other guy with the nice new BMW you hit gets his car fixed and you didn't have to pay for it

Yea I only pay liability and its cheaper than full coverage.

here my view on it.. get liability but if by all means you can fix it without insurnace knowing its gonna be better (chaper) for you cuz then they wont raise your rates. but in the worst case u cant cover it its too much ect its good to have liability. also if ur neighborhood that is notorious for car theft u might want to consider it. my 2 cents

the problem with full coverage of an old car like that is that any amount of damage to it will total it because of the car's value. that's why i suggest liability

that first post wasnt clear, what does liablilty insuranc

does it mean other guy is automatically at fault and his insurance pays?i mean why would his insurance just take it as their fault.

ill assume this only cover car 2 car accidents right, no hitting trees and falling off cliff etc right?

liability means that your vehicle isn't covered. so if you ram someone, your insurance will pick up the bill on fixing his car, but you're left in the cold on getting yours fixed. it'll also cover if you accidentally send someone to the hospital, but again, it doesn't cover you.

that kind of insurance basically just says u where wrong everytime,but its pais for.
